FORTRUST Data Center selects design and plans modular expansion of Denver Data Center

Web HostingDENVER – FORTRUST, Colorado’s leading high-availability data center services provider and colocation facility, announced that it has approved the design for an approximate 33,000 square foot expansion project which will bring its raised-floor colocation capacity to more than 80,000 square feet within its 224,000 sq. ft. facility. Over the past six months, FORTRUST has employed a design competition with the best design engineers in the rocky mountain region. The competition was to finalize a full deployment plan for approximately 60,000 sq feet of raised floor in the FORTRUST data center. The goals/ parameters were to get maximum power (W/Sq ft), reduction in PUE for the entire facility and enhance FORTRUST’s current Green initiatives.

FORTRUST has selected Haselden Construction, The RMH Group, Ivins Design, Sturgeon Electric and RK Mechanical as the winning team. The FORTRUST team is now in the process of finalizing construction documents, planning, and permitting for the upcoming expansion. AboveNet Completes Fiber Build-Out To DuPont Fabros Technology’s New Jersey Data Center
